Product Introduction

The B2F type (VSSJA-2) double-flange limit expansion joint is developed on the basis of the VSSJA flange expansion joint.

The B2F type (VSSJA-2) double-flange limit expansion joint operates by connecting to equipment such as valves or flanges on both sides of the joint. Its working principle involves adding a short limiting flange pipe and using extended bolts to securely connect the joint to the limiting device. At the maximum expansion/contraction point, the dimensions are locked with nuts, allowing the pipeline to expand and contract freely within the permissible range. While protecting the pipeline and associated equipment, this design also facilitates future installation, removal, and maintenance. It is suitable for applications involving thermal expansion and contraction of pipelines, uneven foundation settlement, pipelines with a certain degree of slope, bends, or those subjected to significant vibration.

Suitable for connecting pipelines conveying water, oil, gas, slurries, and particulate media.

Brief Installation Instructions
1. The B2F type (VSSJA-2) double-flange limit expansion joint is suitable for applications where both ends are equipped with valves or flanged connections.
2. All products are fully assembled and tested before leaving the factory. Simply connect both sides of the product to the valve or flange, evenly tighten the nuts adjacent to the gland cover in a diagonal pattern, then adjust the limit nuts as needed.
3. During the pressure test, the pipelines on both sides of the product should be securely fixed to prevent the product from being subjected to excessive axial forces that could damage the piping system.
